The school uniform will be worn by all students to and from school, while attending school and when representing our school in the wider community. Students are expected to present themselves in a clean and tidy manner at all times. Uniform items are also to be clean, tidy and in good repair.

Footwear is black or navy sandals, appropriate black or navy shoes, or predominantly black sport shoes. These are to be worn with either plain black socks or tights, plain navy socks or tights, or plain white socks. Footless tights and knee length socks are not permitted.

  • No platform, high heeled shoes, crocs or jandals are to be worn.
  • Gumboots may be brought to school for selected events but must not be worn in the classrooms.

  • Hair accessories are to be kept within the school uniform colour range, i.e. burgundy, navy, or black.

Exemptions

Where students are not able to wear the school uniform due to unforeseen circumstances, a daily letter of explanation from the parent or caregiver addressed to their teacher is required.

  • Exemptions will be considered for cultural and religious reasons on written application to the principal.
  • If the school has any concerns regarding a student’s uniform, hair, jewellery, or footwear, the principal will discuss this with the student and their parents/guardians. If a resolution is unable to be reached, the matter may be referred to the board by either party.
